Sub-Saharan Social Enterprise Startup: GHANA

So let it be written, so let it be done.

Ghana is a very religious country. Christians, Moslems & Buddhists live in peace. Over 90% of the population joins fellowship services on Sunday. I am not a strong follower of organized religion thus I skip services. Not to say I am not spiritual, mine is a personal and intimate relationship with the creator and recently He has been guiding me with purpose and objectivity. In a way, I am closer to surrendering than ever before.

Why am I even here, in Ghana? I definitely do not have to be here, my previous life in Japan and Hawaii was wonderful. Life was good and full of convenience! But here I am in Ghana. Life is not easy but I would not trade it for anything in the world. I truly believe being in Ghana is my calling…some say destiny. My team members tell me repeatedly that what we are doing has already been written in “The Book”.

I remember a line in Cecil B DeMiles “Ten Commandments” , where the Pharaoh declares, Let the name of  Moses be stricken from every book and tablet.. “So let it be written, So let it be done”.  And here we are working on a Sub-Saharan Startup commonly known as, GrowGhana!
